A smile for the soul. He’s a combination of cultural and spiritual traditions that are living in an ever-evolving neighborhood. He’s ever comfortable in his hometown Philly roots that speak of peace, and brotherly love. An award-winning and prolific singer-songwriter, he's moved gracefully through a catalog of twenty-plus diverse albums.
Being brought up in a faithful home that featured his father, a be-bop pianist, and his mother a culture-sharing creative, his influences are far and wide both musically, philosophically, and spiritually. It was that broad pallet from which to draw on that has inspired his differing shades of music from album to album.
Mann has released several albums and singles over the years, and he's gained a following within the Christian music community for his heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies. His hit single, “The Consequence,” was a Top 10 Christian Music Weekly radio hit. His last two singles, “Hope of the World” and “Hallelujah” (both from his album “Chapel Songs”), have hit #1 on the UK iTunes Christian chart, while the album has received more than 150K Spotify streams.
His music often reflects themes of faith, hope, and love. In Eddy’s words, "I’m driven to write, to record, and to perform by the opportunity to bring a smile, a light, or just a moment of peace to someone in need. That’s why I get up each day, that’s my part to play in this story, and that’s why I’ll continue to write about my experiences getting through each and every day."

Ken Holt, the son of a U.S. Marine, grew up across seven states before settling in Jacksonville, FL, where his passion for music flourished during his high school and college years. Influenced by his Uncle Henry's gospel-tinged mandolin, his father’s Willie and Waylon records, and the harmony-driven innovation of artists like Duane Allman and The Beatles, Ken’s style blends country, rock 'n roll, bluegrass, and old-school pop—best described as Americana.
Ken’s musical journey includes playing bass for the regionally acclaimed New England band, The Blend, in the 70s and 80s. With two MCA records and tours opening for The Who, ZZ Top, Hall & Oates, and more, he experienced life on the road and the joy of performing. Today, Ken channels that passion into his duo, The Promise, whose debut gig was at the 2024 Florida Americana Music Festival.
Decades of musicianship, including 20 years as a pastor and youth minister in the Presbyterian Church, inspire Ken’s goal: to create and perform music that is welcoming, respectful of diverse experiences, and hopeful. As he prepares to release a new digital and vinyl record in 2025, Ken continues crafting songs, recording in his home studio, and sharing music that evokes nostalgia, longing, joy, and hope.

The National Day of Prayer belongs to all Americans. It is a day that transcends differences, bringing together citizens from all backgrounds.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman
God is sovereign and nothing comes as a surprise to Him. Whether we face fluctuating economics, threats from abroad, unrest at home, or other troubling circumstances, our Heavenly Father is not caught unaware. Through prayer, we are able to tap into His wisdom, strength, protection, and peace. He stands ready to respond to our needs when we humbly ask for divine intervention in the affairs of men.
As we Pray for America whose pledge of allegiance recounts that we are “one nation under God,” and whose currency states that it is “in God we trust,” we want Americans to encounter the God who rules over their country. “He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man, He who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth—the LORD God Almighty is His name.”
—Amos 4:13 NIV
He is the One who gave us this promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” As we humbly and diligently seek Him, we’ll be changed, and we’ll see transformation in America through prayer!
BY PRAYING INTO SEVEN CENTERS OF INFLUENCE IN OUR NATION
Pray for our leaders, as well as the judges in our courts. Ask God to grant them wisdom to act with integrity. Our executive, legislative, and judicial branches, when functioning as they were designed, champion our liberties and prevent our government from becoming tyrannical and oppressive.
As the heroic men and women in our armed services secure our liberty both at home and abroad, pray the Lord’s protection will go before them. In addition, lift up the chaplains stationed around the world, along with the Christian servicemen who unofficially fulfill a role of spiritual leadership. Ask that these believers would faithfully represent Christ among their comrades-in-arms.
We encourage you to make our nation’s journalists a subject of prayer. Ask the Lord to provide the television, radio and print mediums with staff members and executives who are committed to accuracy and integrity.
Today’s business leaders hold a great deal of sway in our society. America has long celebrated the entrepreneurial spirit of men and women who have launched innovative and successful companies. We're praying for honest and generous CEOs who reward loyal employees, customers and clients.
A safe atmosphere conductive to learning
The Church, ultimately, refers to the body of Christian believers around the world. As those who guide and disciple the Church, today’s pastors and other Christian leaders face a vast and unprecedented array of pressures. While God has blessed His people with many godly ministers, these shepherds need our prayer support. As they strive to remain obedient to Christ, ask the Lord to provide them with strength and avenues of accountability so that they may maintain steadfastness in their vital callings.
No institution in the culture is facing more intense persecution than the family. Not only are the incidences of divorce, but infidelity and abuse are on the rise.
It’s crucial that we pray for this vital and foundational unit of society. God’s Word makes it clear that families play a central role in disseminating the tenets of our faith to the next generation. Loving homes model virtues such as sacrifice, patience and unconditional love to a watching world, and committed marriages exemplify Christ’s devotion to His Church. Indeed, the family holds a special place in God’s heart.
